Dear Parents, Students, and Well-wishers,
It is with great pride and joy that I welcome you to St. Charles High School, Kamanahalli. Our institution has always stood as a beacon of learning, character formation, and holistic development. At St. Charles, we believe that education extends far beyond textbooks—it is about shaping compassionate, confident, and capable young individuals who can contribute meaningfully to the world.
Every child who walks through our doors carries immense potential, and it is our mission to nurture that potential through a supportive environment, dedicated faculty, and opportunities that encourage curiosity, creativity, and moral integrity.
The emblem of the Congregation and the motto inscribed on it ‘TOIL, FAITH, PROGRESS’ appropriately characterizes our institutes. The Sisters of St. Charles Borromeo faithful to the motto, live by their faith and work constantly as they focus on an ardent desire for progress. The spirit of St. Charles High School is symbolically expressed in its emblem. It is nothing but the spirit of the life of St. Charles who had lived in the 15 th century in total commitment and faithfulness to the will of God. The same spirit has been passed on to us down the ages and is well depicted in the Coat of Arms. The centre of the emblem is occupied with the shield. The colour blue depicts the colour of the mantle of Mother Mary. The red colour of the shield characterizes the loving heart of Jesus and His sacrifice for the redemption of humankind. The golden beehive is flanked by bees of golden hue on either side.
St. Charles Borromeo, the pioneer of Christian Education in the Diocese of Milan, Italy was gifted with a lively intelligence and an extraordinary capacity for activity. He gave himself at the service of the Church and the poor. His zeal and charity spur us on. His humility and simplicity we strive to imbibe. St. CHARLES HIGH SCHOOL is a Religious Unaided Minority Institution, envisaged under Article 30 (1) of the Indian Constitution. This institution was established in 1996 by the Sisters of St. Charles Borromeo.
